County Convention are opportunities for change!
If you’ve ever wondered:
“What is the Democratic Party doing?”
“What does the Democratic Party stand for?”
“How do Democrats pick their leaders?”
The County Democratic Conventions are where those questions are answered. But more importantly, attending means you have say in the answers to those questions.
Greeting Democrats of Humboldt County, Nevada
I, Chair Cynthia King of the Nevada Democratic Accessibility Caucus, issue notification of the Humboldt County Convention.
On April 23rd at 4pm, we will meet at Humboldt County Library (85 E 5th St, Winnemucca, NV 89445) for the purposes of:
Electing one (1) State Delegates and one (1) alternate to attend the Nevada State Democratic Party Convention to be held in Las Vegas, NV on Saturday, June 13, 2026.
Optional Party Business:
Creation and approval of the Humboldt County Bylaws for the Humboldt County Central Committee
Election of the Humboldt Central Committee Officers
Creation and adopting our County Party 2026 Platform
Conduct other party organizing business in accordance with the Convention Rules

Participation as a Humboldt State Delegate or Humboldt County State Alternate to the Nevada State Democratic Convention is open to all persons who are registered Democrats residing in Humboldt County, NV as of February 1, 2026, who have attended the Humboldt County Democratic County Convention, and voted in the 2026 Democratic Primary. The Democratic Convention will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, in Las Vegas, NV. The cost to attend the convention is paid for by the Douglas County State Delegate/Alternate.
Self nominate to be a Humboldt County State Delegate or Alternate by filling out the NV State Democratic Convention Delegate Intent form. The deadline is Thursday, April 30, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. to run for Delegate or Alternate to the Nevada State.
